As we all navigate the new digital environment we find ourselves in and process through how best to reach our students and address their needs, we could all use some actionable tips and tricks to get us through. That’s exactly what you’ll get when you hear from Kara Heichelbech on today’s LeaderCast! Kara shares the five elements of eLearning, breaks down how to best provide feedback and engage students in the digital environment, and offers numerous ideas that will assist you in collecting data and making the process of eLearning easier to adjust to and implement. Kara shares relevant and actionable tips to add to our toolbox.

In addition to this great resource, we will expand on the topics of Virtual Best Practices and Non-Virtual Best Practices with Amy Heavin and Dr. April Holder during our weekly Twitter Chat tonight (#IASPChat), Tuesday, April 21st at 8:00 p.m. (ET) and during our IASP Shared Solutions Series virtual meetings tomorrow, Wednesday, April 22nd at 3:15 and 8:15 p.m. (ET). Wednesdays’ 3:15 p.m. session will focus on Virtual Best Practices, including many of the obstacles that we are facing in reference to the digital learning environment and pushing out digital content. The 8:15 p.m. session on Wednesday evening will focus on Non-Virtual Best Practices, including topics such as mental health services, food programs, accessibility, and other items relevant to this new environment, that don’t necessarily relate to the digital teaching element.
