High School Quiz Bowl
New High School Contest for 2019-2020
Quiz Bowl is a fast-paced buzzer competition in which teams of four players compete to answer questions that cover academic subjects like literature and science as well as the broader world of culture and current events. For the first time in 2019-2020, IASP will host an Area and State tournament in the Pyramidal Style of quiz bowl for high school students, following the format established by the National Academic Quiz Tournaments (NAQT).

2019 Jr/Sr Academic Coach Conference Schedule available!

Anyone who serves as an academic coach during the school year is eligible for this award, and can be nominated by their principal, another coach, coordinator or volunteer. One academic coach from each level of competition (elementary, middle/junior and senior) is recognized at our annual Academic Coaches Conference.
In order to participate in Department of Student Programs (DSP) sponsored academic competitions, cheer competitions, Student Day at the Legislature, MLK Essay contest, and any other DSP programs, schools must maintain a current membership in DSP.
