West Clark Community Schools
West Clark Community Schools is a school district serving students in the western half of Clark County, Indiana. West Clark Community Schools serves 4,750 students across three community campuses: Silver Creek High School serves grades 9-12 , Borden Jr./Sr. High School and Henryville Jr./Sr. High School serves grades 7-12. A separate Silver Creek Middle School serves grades 6, 7 & 8. The district also consists of three elementary schools: Silver Creek Elementary in Sellersburg (Grades 2-5), Borden Elementary (Grades K-6), Henryville Elementary (Grades K-6) and one Primary School in Silver Creek Primary (grades K-1). High school juniors and seniors have the option of attending C.A. Prosser School of Technology half a day in order to learn a skilled trade. Approximately thirty career areas, such as Auto Collision, Building Trades, Computer Programming, and Cosmetology are offered. The job placement rate is quite successful; although more vocational students are now choosing to further their education also.
