The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) empowers educators to achieve excellence in teaching and leading—all with the goal of providing every child with a healthy, engaging and supportive learning environment. Our diverse membership—superintendents, principals, teachers and advocates—allows for collaboration among educator groups as they strive to improve education for every learner.
Indiana ASCD is the state affiliate of the national ASCD organization. We collaborate with state and national associations and departments to:
Support educational programs and supervisory practices at all levels and in all curricular fields
Help ensure quality educational opportunities are available for all students
Identify and share successful practices in instruction, curriculum development and supervision
Be a strong voice in the educational affairs across the state and nation
