The World Food Programme says, “The poor are hungry and their hunger traps them in poverty.” Hunger is the number one cause of death in the world, killing more than HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis combined.

Students in  schools across Indiana are preparing to think critically about Living in Poverty as part of the Future Problem Solving program.  This competition gives students the chance to use the six-step problem solving process to showcase their skills; top teams or individuals then advance to International Conference in June at the University of Massachusetts.

Future Problem Solving – Teaching kids how to think, not what to think, for over 45 years!
