2010-2011 Indiana Academic Decathlon Coaches Handbook
The revised 2010-11 Indiana Academic Decathlon Coaches Handbook will be posted in early fall and will include the Team Roster form, which is due at the IASP office by Dec. 13, 2010. The form can be faxed to 317-894-9807.

Description of The United States
Academic Decathlon Competition
Content
The competition is made up of ten events with objective tests in seven areas
(language/literature, math, science, economics, fine arts, science, and super
quiz) as well as speech, interview, and essay.
Teams
Teams will consist of up to nine members with three being designated as Honors
(3.75-4.00) students, three Scholastic (3.00-3.74) students, and three Varsity
(0-2.99) students. Each student participates in all 10 events.
Eligibility
All full-time students in grades 9-12 are eligible to compete. Within these constraints schools may select their teams in any manner with any additional criteria they choose.
